Colorado Big Game Hunting

Booking Information

  1. A 50% deposit is required to secure your hunting season guarantee.
  2. All payments must be in the form of cash, money order, cashier’s check, or personal check.
  3. All hunters must personally contact Dennis Griffin before booking the hunt at 303-618-2329.
  4. All contracts and medical release forms must be completed before the hunt.
  5. Deposits are non-refundable. If you fail to arrive due to an emergency, your deposit can be applied to another hunt, but must be completed within ONE YEAR.
  6. The balance of the charges for the hunt will be due 45 days prior to the hunt.

Hunting Information

This is the hunt for those who want to increase their advantage by being guided by experienced big game guides, who know and understand the property and the game movement in the area. Hunts are conducted on a 1600 acre private ranch, surrounded by other private hunting areas in Game management unit 211. The ranch has consistently yielded some of the biggest and most majestic Mule Deer Bucks and Bull Elk in the State of Colorado.

Required Equipment

  • Big-bore rifle (7mm, 300 magnum or larger) and plenty of ammunition. Ballistic Tip Bullets Are Not Permitted!!
  • Binoculars, spotting scope, GPS, flashlight, sharp knife, etc.
  • Daylight fluorescent orange ONLY. No camo-orange. Baseball cap and vest must meet minimum Colorado requirements.
  • Clothes for all conditions. Colorado weather can change dramatically in a matter of a few hours.
  • Daypacks are necessary to carry lunches, snacks, and personal gear.
  • Water bottles or canteen.

T & D Outfitters will be happy to forward the names, phone and fax numbers of local hotels & motels, that are generally available. You will be required to book your reservations. There are also many restaurants that we will recommend. You will need to bring your own lunch

Included Services- Our services for this hunt will include:

  • Guide and hunting ratio of 6 hunters per guide
  • Trucks, 4X4’s, ropes, 2-way radio and cellular communication systems
  • Field dressing and transportation to processing plants or storage facility
  • Coolers with snacks, pop, water, etc.

Not included in package

  • Room and board
  • Hunting license, game processing, storage and transportation of game
  • Taxidermy fees

License Information

  • First season & fourth season limited Elk license by draw only and due April 1, 2010. Unlimited Elk licenses are available over the counter for second, third, seasons. Deer licenses for all seasons are by draw only and due by April 1, 2010.
  • If you were born after 1949, you must have and carry with you a HUNTER EDUCATION CARD. It will be required in order to purchase a license.

General Rules and Contract Stipulations

This is a written warning concerning the sport of hunting. Hunting is a dangerous sport. Conditions of the hunt can sometimes become adverse. Safety is an utmost concern of T & D Outfitters. Each hunter is expected to act in a responsible, ethical, and moral manner. If you cannot conduct yourself with respect and safety in regard to other hunters and to the rules established by T & D Outfitters as described herein, you will be expelled from the property and will not be refunded any part of the hunting fees. Conditions may occur during your hunting experiences that are beyond the control of T & D Outfitters.

  1. T & D Outfitters are not responsible for any accidents, losses, or injuries.
  2. You are required to inform T & D Outfitters of any medical conditions that you have.
  3. No closed actions on firearms in vehicles, around other hunters, or in camp!
  4. No alcoholic beverages!
  5. No handling of firearms when drinking.
  6. No party hunting- this is illegal.
  7. You are required to wear fluorescent orange at all times during the hunt.
  8. Any illegally taken game will be turned over to the proper State Wildlife authorities. All fines, costs etc., which are imposed by the State, will be the responsibility of the hunter. Be very familiar with the game laws of the State. Understand the rules and regulations. If you have questions, please ask your T & D Outfitters hunting guide.
  9. The manner of hunting Iles Mountain is mostly sitting and watching game movements. There will be some spot and stalk hunting. Basically, if you can get into a truck you can hunt this property very effectively.
